Our traditional Murphy’s Army handmade purple poppies are lovingly created for us by our wonderful team of volunteers, who generously give their time and skills to support our campaign.

Every poppy is completely unique. Some are knitted, some are crocheted, and there may be slight variations in size, colour and design. That is part of what makes them so special — each and every one has been handmade with love and care. 💜

This traditional wearable version comes with a pin/brooch fastener, making it perfect for attaching to a coat, jacket, jumper, scarf or bag.

Approximately 6–9cm in diameter, each poppy is a beautiful and meaningful way to show your support for the Purple Poppy Campaign and honour the animals who served alongside our Armed Forces in times of war and conflict, as well as the incredible service animals who continue to serve alongside us today.

📮 Delivery Information

We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours, and your poppy will then be sent via Royal Mail- second class large envelope.

Most orders arrive quickly, but delivery times can vary and some orders may take a little longer than expected. Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times are outside of our control, so please be patient and allow up to 5 working days for your order to arrive before getting in touch.

Murphy’s Army Purple Poppy Campaign™ honours Service Animals - past and present. Since our launch in 2016 we have raised nearly £250,000 which has helped many former Service Animals in their retirement. We help across all Services including Police, Prison, Fire, Border Force and Military. And because we are entirely volunteer run all profits directly benefit our chosen and very worthy recipients.

The key beneficiaries for our 2025 Campaign are Bransby Horses, Service Dogs UK and Tired Paws Foundation. We hope you will continue your wonderful support and help us to raise much needed funds for these wonderful causes.

Murphy’s Army Purple Poppy Campaign (MAPPC) celebrates and supports the invaluable contributions of service animals, past, present, and future. We honour the memory of animals lost in conflicts and recognise those who have served and continue to serve alongside or in support of uniformed services throughout history.

Through fundraising efforts, we provide vital support to service animals, both active and retired, ensuring they receive care, welfare, training, protection, and support tailored to their needs. By raising public awareness, we commemorate their sacrifices and achievements while promoting their welfare and legacy for generations to come.
