Representing the millions of horses, ponies, mules and donkeys who carried people, equipment and vital supplies through some of the most difficult and dangerous conditions imaginable.

Representing the incredible dogs who searched, protected, detected danger, rescued and comforted – as well as the Service Dogs who continue to work faithfully alongside us today.

Representing the brave messenger pigeons who flew through terrible conditions and great danger to deliver vital messages, many of which helped save lives.

💜 10 YEARS OF REMEMBERING – 2016–2026 💜

2026 marks the 10th Anniversary of Murphy’s Army Purple Poppy Campaign™ – a decade of honouring, remembering and supporting Service Animals, past and present.

Since our campaign began in 2016, our incredible supporters have helped us raise almost £300,000, enabling us to support former Service Animals in retirement and organisations caring for animals who have given so much during their working lives.

Our campaign recognises animals serving across the Police, Prison, Fire & Rescue, Border Force and Military services, while remembering the countless animals who have served throughout history.

We remember the horses and mules who carried people, equipment and supplies through unimaginable conditions.

We remember the dogs who searched, protected, detected danger, rescued and comforted.

We remember the pigeons who flew through danger to deliver vital messages.

And we recognise the incredible Service Animals who continue to work alongside us today.

Supporting the care and welfare of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules, including former Service Animals who deserve safety, dignity and care in retirement.

Helping support retired Police Dogs who have spent their working lives protecting communities and serving faithfully alongside their handlers.
